Despite being around for a number of years, Toronto's Choir! Choir! Choir! have been gaining increasing recognition in recent months for their heartfelt covers of popular songs by David Bowie and Prince in the wake of the iconic musicians' shocking deaths. They also recently delivered a touching tribute to Tragically Hip singer Gord Downie, who is suffering from brain cancer, with their recent version of "Ahead By A Century."
Last month the collective gathered 1,500 choir singers at Toronto's cavernous venue The Hearn with Rufus Wainwright as part of Torono's Luminato Festival to sing Leonard Cohen's classic "Hallelujah." The result is just as rousing as it sounds.
Watch Rufus Wainwright and Choir! Choir! Choir! perform "Hallelujah" below.
