"We sat on the edge of worlds today...."

The Strombo Show runs the gamut this Sunday night, keeping the spirit of radio alive by delivering the best records in the best order. It's a show for music lovers by music lovers, ranging over three hours of commercial-free music to honour both old and new.

This time, George Stroumboulopoulos welcomes celebrated Canadian singer-songwriter Coeur de pirate. Also known as Beatrice Martin, Coeur de pirate etched her name into our vocabulary with shimmering songs that earned international acclaim, heralded by many as the best reason to learn French. After finding a balance with fear and anxiety through motherhood, she returned with her fifth album, Roses

In the House of Strombo, the Montreal songstress discusses the transition to English songwriting, her post-hardcore obsession with Alexisonfire, her father's Prince impersonation and she performs a cover of Drake's "Hold On We're Going Home."

George will exclusively debut songs from Grandtheft's debut album and another from self-proclaimed sound architect Spoke and Mirror.

We'll also be joined by a few friends of the program, such as Buffy Sainte-Marie, Kate Tempest, Run the Jewels and Sylvan Esso.

Lock it. Crank it. Join the collective!
