This time, George Stroumboulopoulos opens up his house and welcomes Arkells back inside, along with 100 fans for an intimate and sweaty dance party to debut tunage off of the band's upcoming album, Morning Report.

Arkells are Juno Award-winning road warriors from the Hammer, named after the street they lived on when they formed in 2006. They entered with old-school rock 'n' roll ethic with songs about punching clocks with punk-fuelled anthems in the tradition of the Weakerthans, Constantines and Wolf Parade. Arkells' addiction to live performance resulted in marathon touring schedules. Adding two more full-length albums, four Juno Awards and a gold record, they have become one of the most-played bands on Canadian alt-rock radio.

Frontman Max Kerman has confessed that he is bored with rock music, that his tastes have changed and that Arkells' sound has shaped them into their most eclectic album to date: Morning Report. They returned to the House with a 10-piece band, performing cuts off that record, including an exclusive premiere of "Come Back Home" and a few other surprises. You can watch it above.

Chantal Kreviazuk also joins for an in-depth conversation at the piano. She recently launched her first album in six years, which wasn't a hiatus whatsoever: she's kept busy dripping ink onto hits for Drake and Carrie Underwood while raising her three sons. With the release of her new album, Hard Sail, Kreviazuk's sound remains within that realm of airy, folk-pop melodies that earned her multiple Juno Awards and a discography that recently etched its 20th anniversary. Alongside her husband, Raine Maida, she was honoured with the Allan Slaight Humanitarian Spirit Award and Order of Canada for their contributions to charitable initiatives.

In the House of Strombo, Kreviazuk shares her experiences with motherhood, songwriting and confesses her obsession with Radiohead's A Moon Shaped Pool, resulting in an infectiously haunting cover of the band's song "Daydreaming."

Also, in the midst of the wall-to-wall music, Biz Markie and Kathleen Edwards visit to unravel some of their favourite songs.

You know what to do: Lock it. Crank it. Join the collective!
