It's hard to believe, but the dog days of summer are upon us. After a short hiatus due to technical issues, we're back with a new episode of the Radio 3 podcast with host Louise Burns, bringing you the five essential things every Canadian indie music fan needs to hear this month.
In this episode we return with not just a breezy selection of music, but also some very special guests. Think of this as our annual imaginary BBQ where all of our amazing friends show up! Musician, songwriter and producer Jay Arner from Vancouver stopped by to give us an in-depth look at his song “Like a Dracula” off his second solo album Jay II. We were also graced with the presence of Toronto’s Jennifer Castle, who shares with us what she’s listening to these days.
As well, newly minted Torontonian Hannah Georgas joins us in the studio for an interview, in which she talks about the creative muse behind her latest record, the exquisite For Evelyn.
You can stream the podcast below, or subscribe in iTunes or Stitcher.
