It's hard to believe that John River is only 21 years old. The talented musician from Mississauga is poised and confident when he hits the stage at the CBC Music Festival. He kicks off his set with a shout out to his mom, and also performs his song "The Backup Plan," suggesting that dropping out of high school to chase a music career is probably not a good idea, although clearly it's working for River.
