Watch High Valley perform a new song, cover 'Be My Baby Tonight'

The band High Valley has been blowing up in the past couple years, based on the strength of its last album, County Line, and the single "Make You Mine." Frontmen Brad and Curtis Rempel and their band are releasing their next album, Dear Life, on Friday, Nov. 18. The brothers from Blumenort, Alta. — 700 kilometres north of Edmonton — dropped by the CBC Music studio back in late August and played a mini session for us.

High Valley plays a fantastic cover of the John Michael Montgomery classic, "Be My Baby Tonight," which you can hear below. The song is pretty special for the band, as it's the first song that Brad ever learned to play as a kid. Pretty great beginnings. The band also played the first Canadian single from Dear Life, "Every Week's Got a Friday." Watch the videos in the playlist below:
