In this latest episode of Backstage Pass, the members of Sam Roberts Band play an intimate concert of their latest songs from their new record, Terraform, for excited fans inside CBC Music's Studio 211.
Recorded at The Hip's Bathouse Recording Studio in Kingston, Ont., the band holed up there for the month of March, living with each other and the music, totally immersing themselves in the record.
This album has the band exploring themes of renewal and rebuilding. "When you’re wearing your heart on your sleeve, it’s vulnerability more than anything," confides Roberts about his most forthright album to date. "You’re willing yourself to be vulnerable. If you’re using experience as a euphemism for age then maybe that’s what it is."
