Here in Marvin's Room we are such fan's of up and coming Canadian R&B star Daniel Caesar. His latest song is a duet with Colombian-American singer Kali Uchis. In describing the song to Billboard, he said “This is a song of praise to a love I didn’t even feel I deserved at the time, being with someone you truly adore and being present enough in the moment that the world literally slows down and you ask yourself how did I stumble on to this?” This is Daniel Caesar reflecting on an awe-inspiring love with “Get You”.
Can't Get Enough Of Your Love
Is there a voice more legendary than that of Barry White? When you hear that deep bass baritone it feels like he was made to make soul music but tragedy almost derailed Barry from his destiny when he was a teenager. His younger brother was murdered in a clash with a rival gang. Barry White began stealing and at age 16 he was jailed for stealing $30,000 worth of Cadillac tires. One day while sitting in jail contemplating his life, Elvis Presley’s voice came through the radio waves he was singing “It’s Now or Never” and it made Barry stop in his tracks. He credits that moment with changing his life and when he got out of jail he immediately began his music career. Barry White went on to become one of the best-selling artists of all time. Here he is with “Can’t Get Enough of Your Love.”

Ciara 's song “Body Party" is down-tempo R&B at its best. If you have a moment, check out the video directed by Toronto’s own Director X. It features incredible choreography wicked styling and the happier days between Ciara and her ex, the rapper Future, before the cheating, tattoo removals, break-up records, Twitter rants and court room battles.
