Nelly Furtado is a national treasure.
The Victoria, B.C.-born musician released her debut album, Whoa, Nelly!, in 2000, which went four-times platinum and netted her a Grammy for best female pop performance. Her third album, Loose, in which she teamed up with super producer Timbaland, transformed her into a global superstar, with songs like "Maneater" and "Promiscuous" owning the charts.
Since then, Furtado hasn't been afraid to mix it up, exploring her Latin roots on 2009's Mi Plan, and even taking some time out of the spotlight to pursue other interests, from playwriting to pottery to philanthropy.
Now Furtado is back with her sixth album, The Ride, out March 31, so we thought it would be the perfect time to have her weigh in on some of today's biggest chart hits. Watch Furtado in a hilarious segment of Jam or Not a Jam below.
