At the 2017 Juno Awards at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa, the late Leonard Cohen was honoured several times over the course of the ceremony. He won Artist of the Year and Album of the Year for his final album, You Want It Darker.
But it was Leslie Feist's beautiful and moving tribute that had the audience in tears. Backed by two vocalists, Feist covered Cohen's beloved classic, “Hey, That’s No Way To Say Goodbye,” from his 1967 debut album, Songs of Leonard Cohen.
The touching performance was accompanied by a black-and-white montage of photos of Cohen. Watch video of Feist's tribute below.
