Vote for your favourite finalist at the Montreal International Musical Competition

Again this year, Radio-Canada is offering a $5,000 People's Choice Award to the finalist at the Montreal International Musical Competition who receives the most votes in its poll.

Have your say by watching the live webcasts of the final round and filling out the online ballot (follow the link, above). Voting is open to all, regardless of nationality. You'll be prompted to include your name and email address, and you'll be able to vote once per day until 12 p.m. ET on Friday, May 12.

The final round takes place Tuesday and Wednesday, May 9 and 10, at La Maison symphonique de Montréal. Each of the competition's six finalist will play a piano concerto with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra under the direction of guest conductor Claus Peter Flor. The winner of Radio-Canada's People's Choice Award will be announced at a gala concert (and webcast) on Friday, May 12.
