Watch Yannick Nézet-Séguin's orchestra play for Jacques Cartier Bridge light show

On May 17, Montreal celebrated its 375th anniversary by unveiling the much-anticipated illumination of its historic Jacques Cartier Bridge, accompanied by a fireworks display and a live performance of excerpts from Mahler's Symphony No. 5 by l'Orchestre Métropolitain under Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

Thousands made their way to the site after sunset — public transit was free for the day — to witness "Living Connections," a project produced by Moment Factory. Watch:
