From Hedwig to hallows: 8 scores to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter

Calling all wizards, witches and muggles! Pull out your wands, yell “Expecto patronum!” and let your patronus burst out, for we have much to celebrate: the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

We don’t have any butterbeer or cauldron cakes or Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans for the party — we’ll leave the confections to Honeydukes sweet shop. But what’s a celebration without music?

Whether you’re hosting your own sorting hat party, playing a game of pick-up quidditch or having a spell-casting trivia night, we’ve got just the music for you. With scores that boast heavyweights such as John Williams, Patrick Doyle, Nicholas Hooper and Alexandre Desplat, here’s a selection of music from Harry Potter movies in honour of the first book's 20th anniversary.

Hedwig's Theme

Chamber of Secrets Suite
