By
Editorial Staff

Equal parts celebration, resistance, and reclamation, Reclaimed introduces listeners to a new generation of Indigenous artists reclaiming their culture through music and song, while paying respect to First Nations musicians of previous generations who have set the stage for today’s emerging talent to rise.

Reclaimed airs Wednesdays at 7 p.m. on CBC Radio 2. The host is Jarrett Martineau. Here's the first episode:

Reclaimed: July 4, 2017

Every week, Jarrett Martineau explores the world of contemporary Indigenous music from traditional songs and acoustic sounds to the pulsing beats of electric powwow.
