In 2011, the Juno's headed to the dance floor and added Electronic album of the Year to its roster for the first time. Hear Grimes, Caribou, Ryan Hemsworth and more.
To get Canadian music fans prepped for the 2018 Juno Awards, we've been releasing special streams with past Juno winners from different genres. So far you can listen to past Juno winners in 10 categories: Songwriter of the Year, Jazz Album of the Year: Group, Classical Album of the Year: Large Ensemble, Country Album of the Year, Pop Album of the Year, Children's Album of the Year, Indigenous Album of the Year and Rap Recording of the Year. Today we release our 11th — and last for now — stream: Electronic Album of the Year.
Relatively new, the Juno Awards added the category of electronic album of the year in 2011. In the stream above, hit play to hear music from winners of the past seven years including Grimes, Caribou, Ryan Hemsworth and more.
The 47th annual Juno Awards will take place on March 25, 2018, in Vancouver. Keep up with all of our Juno Awards coverage at CBC.ca/junos, which is where you'll be able to watch the awards broadcasted live from the Rogers Centre in 2018.
