'Who the hell are you?': American Idol judges blown away by Uché's cover of Jessie Reyez's 'Figures'

American Idol is in its 17th season this year, with Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan holding court at the judges' table. The two-hour April 1 episode saw the top 20 contestants performing for their spots going forward, and one artist had Perry fake fainting: Houston's Uché.

Singing Jessie Reyez's seductively heartbreaking "Figures," Uché leaves everything onstage with an emotional, shortened version of the song, complete with passionate mic stand-throwing.

"Honestly, honestly: who the hell are you?" Richie asks, incredulously. We're looking forward to finding out.
