Re-listen to past episodes of CBC Music's Reclaimed

CBC Music's new summer series Reclaimed will introduce you to the sound of Indigenous next wave.

Equal parts celebration, resistance and reclamation, host Jarrett Martineau will be your guide to discovering this new generation of Indigenous artists who are reclaiming their culture through music and song, while paying respect to First Nations musicians of previous generations who have set the stage for today’s emerging talent to rise.

Expect to hear both traditional songs and acoustic sounds, native hip-hop, R&B and the dancefloor-filling beats of electric powwow, with a stacked playlist of artists ranging from Tanya Tagaq, A Tribe Called Red, and Wolf Saga to Northern Cree, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Robbie Robertson.

Reclaimed airs Wednesdays at 7 p.m. on CBC Radio 2, but if you can't catch it over the airwaves, you can re-listen to all the past episodes right here.
