Keith Urban, Lindsay Ell and High Valley are the first three acts to be confirmed for the upcoming CCMA Awards, taking place at FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton on Sept. 9. The announcement was made today, May 16, by the Canadian Country Music Association via press release.

Platinum-selling recording artist Urban will perform music from his ninth studio album, Graffiti U, kicking off the Canadian leg of his Graffiti U world tour (he'll do eight shows, from Moncton, N.B., to Vancouver, between Sept. 12 and 25.) Ell will be opening for Urban on that tour — especially exciting news for fans in her hometown of Calgary. Her 2017 album The Project shot to No. 1 the week of its release.

High Valley is no stranger to the CCMA Awards, having won the group of the year award on two occasions. Expect to hear music from High Valley's latest release, Dear Life, when the brother duo takes the stage at FirstOntario Centre.

Shania Twain will host the 2018 CCMA Awards, which will be broadcast live in all time zones on CBC TV and at cbcmusic.ca/ccmas on Sunday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT).
