It's the viral debate dividing the internet: do you hear the word "Yanny" or "Laurel"?
An audio clip was released recently where some have admitted to hearing "Yanny" while others hear "Laurel." (Musician Yanni obviously hears the former.) Some even argue that the robotic voice in the soundbite says both.
So, naturally, we asked Canadian band — and this year's CBC Music Festival headliners — July Talk to take the challenge. Watch the clip below and see what singers Leah Fay and Peter Dreimanis think.
July Talk, A Tribe Called Red, Charlotte Day Wilson and more will perform at the 2018 CBC Music Festival on Saturday, May 26. Tickets are still available, or you can watch the show live on cbcmusic.ca.
