The full list of nominees for the 2018 Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) Awards have been announced, and country stars Jess Moskaluke and Brett Kissel lead with six nominations each.
Moskaluke, who is a three-time female artist of the year winner, is up for album of the year, Apple Music Fans' Choice Award, single of the year, video of the year, songwriter of the year, and female artist of the year once again. Kissel, who took home male artist of the year in 2017, is also nominated for album of the year and Apple Music Fans' Choice Award, as well as interactive artist of the year, record producer of the year, video of the year and male artist of the year.
Just behind those two leading artists is Megan Patrick with five nominations, and Dallas Smith with four.
This year's CCMA Awards will take place on Sunday, Sept. 9, in Hamilton, Ont. The big show, which will be broadcast on CBC TV and cbcmusic.ca/ccmas, will be hosted by Canadian country icon, Shania Twain. Performers include Dallas Smith, Terri Clark, Keith Urban, Lindsay Ell and High Valley.
