The artists behind one of Canada's most seminal hip-hop songs reunited at this year's CBC Music Festival for a very special performance.
Members of Rascalz, as well as Kardinal Offishall, Checkmate, Thrust and Choclair got together to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their hit, "Northern Touch," (the act was billed as the Northern Touch All-Stars) and performed an electric set of the artists' best-known songs.
From Kardinal Offishall's "Dangerous," "Ol' Time Killin'" and "Everyday (Rudeboy)" to Choclair's "Let's Ride" and Rascalz's "Top of the World," their appearance on the festival's q stage was dynamic, nostalgic and definitely a highlight of the day.
