Montreal electro-pop band Choses Saugaves edge on to the top 30 chart this week with the slinky single "Nuages," which features a not-often-heard flute solo.
Choses Sauvages by Choses SauvagesQuebec singer-songwriter Jerome 50 has the highest debut with "Prendre une douche," featuring vocals from Hubert Lenoir. The song is from his latest album La hiérarchill and checks in at #23.
Other debuts this week include "Rose" from Allan Rayman, "Rise" from Helena Deland, and "Corinne" from Les Trois Accords.
After a mere four weeks on the chart, Broken Social Scene climbs up to the #1 spot with "Old Dead Young." The song was previously only available as a bonus track on the vinyl edition of Hug of Thunder, but the band released it as a single to celebrate the end of their latest tour.
